Manuel

I've been wanting to sponsor a child for a few years now, and finally found the means to do so. I found children.org and was hooked when I saw this little guy's face.....

This is Manuel. He lives in Jalisco, Mexico and is 7 years old. Is he cute, or what! He has one sibling and lives with his parents in a brick home. Their family monthly income is $429....wow. Manuel loves to run and ride his bike, and apparently his talents include dancing and singing : ) I just found out he will receive a new backpack for Easter- how neat! Right now I'm waiting for his first letter that will be arriving in a couple weeks- whoo hoo! I'm so excited to be helping this little guy and am already looking for others to sponsor. Through this sponsorship I can be a part of LiftOne. It is like facebook but for people who sponsor kids...I love it! It is so great to be a part of a community that is focused on helping kids! I saw a thread discussing sponsoring special needs children, so I've been on the lookout for one to sponsor.

Well, that's about it...I just wanted to introduce Manuel : )
