Today I used, for the first time, some lotion that one of my student's gave me for Christmas. I lathered up my arms and went about getting ready for work... then I realized I was leaving glitter all over everything I came in contact with. Apparently, my thoughtful student bought me lotion that has glitter in it! First of all, I didn't even know lotion came that way. Second, now I looked like a sophomore getting ready for prom aka a fruit cake!
Mental note: ALWAYS inspect gifts from students from now on, no matter how innocent they may look.
On another note, I finished reading The Shack. It was awesome!!! I don't know how much I can say I related to without giving the story away. But I will say, it has helped me feel closer and more loved by God... how great! Also, I love that God is never dissapointed in me.... he knows what is going to happen, and is excited every time I mess up-because I am one trial closer to actually getting it right! Awesome!
