5 Day Weekend?

Up until yesterday I was under the impression that there was only one version of Play Station and X Box. Apparently there are three Play Station version, and a couple of X Box types. My house is now equipped with Play Station 2, otherwise referred to as PS2. My generous roommate got us a present! I obsessively have been playing Sims Castaway with her. What a great way to spend a four, possibly five day weekend.

See, our house is currently about to be blown away by the wind and snow this storm has brought. If the weather reports are true, it is very possible this four day weekend we have enjoyed SO MUCH, will turn into a five day weekend! Last week we only went to school for two days because the rest were snow days.

I feel sorry for those who are not able to stay cozy in their home, and have to venture out into the storm. I do not feel sorry for the not-so-smart drivers that feel the necessity to stop in a one lane highway to let out half the car to play in the brown snow, while the driver slowly drives forward to stay close to the family, as they walk along their car on the highway having a snow ball fight. If you are that family, and you are reading this, here is a pointer...brown snow is gross, and the highway is dangerous. So there you go.

I read in a very cool book about how guilt does not create a way for people to change. Many, (not me of course) feel that people use God as a guilt trip to change others around them. On the contrary, guilt makes humans unconsciously draw away from God, which does not allow healing or growth at all. To me, this is the same in all relationships. Creating guilt in ourselves or others never creates an at ease situation for people to heal and change. This drives others away, which is the complete opposite of the motive. What a sad cycle!

Just some new learned stuff for me. Nice!

Last, but of course not least...Gigi replied hello to me, for the second time! Zippidy doo da!

I have to admit that I am jealous. Driving up and down the mountain during the storms has been a real pain. I can't wait to be off track in March so I can come play with you guys on snow days!
